Barrier performance mainly refers to the protective performance of surgical clothing, the main evaluation methods are hydrostatic, water test, impact infiltration, spray, blood infiltration and microbial penetration and particle filtration efficiency. Comfort features include: air permeability, water vapor penetration, drape, quality, surface thickness, electrostatic properties, color, reflective, odor and skin sensitization, as well as the impact of design and sewing in garment processing.
The main evaluation indexes are air permeability, moisture permeability and charge density. Adsorption performance is a key area of the surgical gown, its material can adsorb the spray liquid that produces in the operation, as well as the diffuse water vapor mist in the air and electric knife and other equipment to use the gel dust (operation smoke) to reduce the diffusion of harmful substances in the air, thereby reducing the infection of incision site and the risk of infection of medical staff.
